After installing Bora Wheel Spacers, the next step was getting new wheels & tires installed. The current Michelin's were highway tires and very worn. The stock 100 Series wheels looked too "old man" for my my son, so I found some takeoffs from a 200 Series to replace them. I am a big fan of Discount Tire, and have been using them for my tire needs for several years. I originally ordered the Yokohama Geolandar X-AT in 275/70R18 because I wanted to try out Yokahama after hearing good things about their tires. When I went to my local Discount Tire for my installation appointment, I found that only 3 of the 4 tires were delivered to the store. I was offered any tire they had in stock for the same price (price matched online), which led me to go with the BF Goodrich All-Terriain T/A K03. This was fine with me as I run them on both of our other Land Crusiers, and didn't choose them initially because of the high price.
Discount Tire has any army of installers, they knocked out the install with 4 people and were done in less than 30 minutes. Very happy with the service provided by my local Discount Tire in Arden, NC, even though initially I was not very happy that the tires I ordered were not delivered. My initial thoughts on the BFG's is that they are quiet and smooth on-road and offer great traction on forest service roads that I drive on each week. You cannot go wrong with any BFG tire and I have been happy with the All-Terrain's for years.
